Job Title: Joiner

Location: Field Based, North West travel

Salary: Circa £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience

Who are we?

Sencat are an established facilities management company specialising in Health and Mental Health Services and can combine all trades into one.

We have undertaken many construction projects from small repairs to large refurbishments in a variety of commercial industries, whilst always maintaining a track record of keeping our projects on time and within budget.

Roles and responsibilities:

· Undertake planned and reactive maintenance building maintenance / fabric works in accordance with contractual KPI's within commercial settings such as schools, hospitals and mental health facilities.

· Advise your line manager of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the running of the building.

· Carry out minor alterations and installations in accordance with current specifications.

· Complete general repairs and maintenance to the building as designated by the Maintenance Manager, e.g., repairs to the building fabric, such as, plumbing, joinery, changing locks, painting.

· To assist other Technicians / Engineers on site when requested to do so.

· inspect and install Fire doors

The ideal candidate:

· Training and proof working on fire doors is essential.

· Fire Compartmentation, with regards to inspect and install Fire doors.

· Must be certified to sign them off.

· Hold a building trade qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds), ideally in Joinery.

· Ability to maintain / repair a range of building fabrics.

· Willingness to work flexible hours/

· Good communication skills (written and verbal)

· Ability to work at heights and competent in the use of steps and ladders.

· IT literate capability to use tablet and generate reports on our CAFM system (training will be provided)

· Joinery: 2 years (Required)

· Maintenance of Fire door Trained (Preferred)

· Fabric engineer: 2 years (Required)
